A cup of family, a splash of theology, and a pinch of frugality. Mix until well incorporated.

Our New Home!

Anna in her almost finished bedroom (needs the white trim)!

Our almost finished kitchen (still needs a back splash and the rest of our appliances).

We are finally moving into our new home this upcoming weekend! It has been an eventful 9 months in Colorado, both in good and challenging ways. We are so grateful to Karen and Wayne for letting us live with them (and take over their home with baby toys)! It will be nice only living about 4 miles away from Grandma and Papa. Now, I'm looking forward to getting back into my full couponing routine and checking out the local grocery stores better.

Our storage containers arrived safely yesterday and, after peeking inside, most of the items look to have arrived safely and intact. With the help of family on Saturday, we will be starting the unloading/unpacking process. Before then, the bathroom still needs tiled, baseboards need put in, and the whole house needs a good wipe down with all the construction dust. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Enjoying Colorado!

I haven't updated my personal blog in quite a while, so I thought I should post some recent pictures of our time in Colorado! Jesse just got back to the States from his 3 week trip to Israel, and we are excitedly awaiting his arrival here in a few days (he is now driving across country from Boston)!

What we've done so far:
- Celebrated Christmas with the Griffins, including Adam & Kim from Dallas!
- Celebrated Anna's 1st Birthday!
- Made a trip to Estes Park before Jesse left for Israel.
- Spent Sunday afternoons with the Russel Griffins!
- Passed around a stomach bug.
- Got re-acquainted with the streets and stores of Greeley.
- Went outlet shopping with Karen.
- Went on many walks during the nice weather!
- And just enjoyed family and this beautiful state!
