Handcrafted Bird Mobile

After seeing mobiles in the store for upwards of $50, mobiles that have to be taken down after 6 or so months once the baby can start reaching it nonetheless, I decided to make my own. I found this simple design online, (How to Make a Felted Bird Mobile) and after a quick hunt for a stick on Gordon-Conwell's campus and a trip to Michael's for some felt, I whipped this bird mobile out in one evening! It looks great hanging from the ceiling above the crib and should last Anna into her toddler years, as we hung it where she cannot reach. Though she may start to think she is a bird and can fly, too. Then, we'll have real problems...

Thank you Shelby Dear! You just tell your Aunt Kelly what kind of mobile you want, and she'll make you a beautiful one for your new home! Tell your Mommy and Daddy we say hello and love them a lot. Anna wants to meet you too!

Love and Kisses,
